If you are looking for a very warm time to visit Kumamoto, the hottest months are August and July, then September. If dry weather is forecast, it is in January, October and then December, according to the Japanese weather agency.

During the year, the temperature typically fluctuates between 35AdegF and 90AdegaF and is typically, but rarely, between 28AdEGF and 94AdgeF. The warmest time of the year is generally mid-September, where the peak is usually 34.5 degrees Fahrenheit, with temperatures rarely dropping below 77.4 degrees at night.

Given the humidity, the temperature feels pleasant all year round, but there is a tendency for rain to fall in mid-June. On average, it rains 8 days a month, and several centimetres of rain falls in the winter months. During the summer months, an average of 2.2 cm of rain falls per day, with an average of 0.3 cm, and it rains about 1,000 cm per week.

Although typhoons rarely cause major damage in Kumamoto, the forecast should be kept in mind, as late summer is also typhoon season and August brings a lot of rain and also a lot of wind. So pay close attention to the cherry blossom forecast, which predicts that the blooms will begin in the south at the end of March and peak in the north of the country and in the surrounding area. While cherry blossom is undoubtedly the most spectacular natural sight in Japan, autumn foliage change is a close second. As the leaves turn yellow in autumn, autumn can be a very pleasant time to visit Kumazaki, with warm and sunny weather and lots of trees to look out for.

The downside of a winter visit is that the weather in September can still be quite hot and humid, but the crowds in August have largely disappeared. The rest of May is one of the best times to visit Japan, as the vegetation is lush, the temperatures are still pleasant and the tourist resorts are pleasantly uncrowded. In Tokyo, sunset is around 5.30 pm and sunsets last about an hour and a half, while in Kumazaki, sunset peaks at around 7 pm.

The rainy season (Tsuyu) visits most parts of Japan, except Hokkaido, in early June. At the other end of the country, in Okinawa, it usually lasts from early May to mid-June, but the weather on Okinawa has changed dramatically for the better in recent years.

The conditions are good for winter sports, but the downside of a winter visit is that there is a lot of snow. The downside of a trip to winter in Japan is that the sunsets are in Tokyo at about 4.30 pm and the sunset in Tokyo at about 5 pm.

In addition to the castles and mountains, Kumamoto is also a place to explore and wander through the beautiful Japanese gardens that adorn the city. There are also forested areas in the mountains, places that can be very attractive in rainy weather. Temperatures are mild in Kumimoto in winter, but you will probably feel cold during the trip, although the conditions are more pleasant in summer due to the warm weather and lack of snow on the hills and mountain slopes.

It is undeniable that Kumamoto is a great city, but the question of when to go is more difficult. February is usually a good time to visit Japan, as there are often many sights that are not very crowded and the weather is usually sunny and dry. People who live in Kumimoto, I would be happy if you would visit this place at any time of the year, especially on January 1st, when the fresh powder is deep. There are often good times for skiing in and around Kumoto, as well as great places to see and visit in the city.
