Kumamoto Japan Accor Hotel
Kumamoto is the capital of the prefecture and is located on the southwest corner of Kyushu Island. It was built in the 17th century by the daimyo (ruler) and was considered impregnable for a long time due to its innovative defence system.
During World War II, Allied airstrikes burned about a third of the city, killing more than 300 people. Moreover, one of Japan's most famous war heroes, Hirohito Miyamoto I, spent his entire life in Kumamoto. In memory of this, the Buddhist monk Nichidatsu Fuji is the founder of a peace pagoda on Mount Hanaoka, which can be visited until today. Just a few steps away is the famous Kyushu Shrine, which houses the shrine of Emperor Shintoism, and the Imperial Palace.
Maruko Hotel is a traditional hotel that features a full-service restaurant, bar and private dining room. The rooms are elegantly and functionally furnished, so you can choose to dine in one of the many restaurants or relax with an onsen after a long day of sightseeing. If you prefer the flexibility of self-catering, you can find out more by browsing the wide selection on the Internet.
You can find the URL by going to our official website or by finding the URL on our website when you book. Please read the conditions that you will read and accept before booking your stay. If you do not provide a number, you will receive a discount and have to pay the full price you originally booked. From 22 July 2020, we will offer you an additional 10% discount on your next stay at Kumamoto Accor Hotel.

Unlimited award points will be credited to members within 10 days of check-in and are only valid for stays at this hotel. Booking with award points during the offer is therefore not acceptable. To be eligible for this offer, your stay must be booked at least 30 days prior to the date of your visit to Kumamoto and must be on offer at the time of check-in. To be eligible for our offer, you must book your stay in advance.
The best time to travel is in the summer months, when the average temperature rises to a balmy 27 degrees Celsius in July and August. Most of the prices offered by the hotel are not suitable for the discount campaign, only the expensive ones. Accor has now launched its own page to publish information on which hotels in Japan are eligible for the Go discount in the campaign. The entire Go campaign was controversial as it could ultimately only spread the Covid 19 across the country.
